Speaking, Storytelling & Advocacy

Story-driven talks on survivorship, science, and hope after childhood cancer.

On this side of treatment, Beau and I carry the story forward—into thoughtful, curious conversations about cancer and survivorship. We consider emerging science, the cost of choice, and what comes after survival.

Topics we explore:

  • Translating complex medical science into real-life understanding for patients and families
  • The clinical trial experience: navigating pediatric cancer medicine across the country
  • CAR-T cell therapy: patient perspective on emerging treatments
  • Survivorship beyond the protocol: what happens after treatment ends
  • The patient advocate as bridge: connecting lived experience to industry innovation
  • Science funding and its human cost: why research matters

“A HUGE thank you to you and Beau for coming to our school today and presenting to our students and staff. I have taught for 22 years and hosted many guest speakers and today was one of the most impactful (if not the most impactful) I have seen!”
